Culturatti Kids is a national non-profit organization that provides books and comprehensive literary arts programs to public schools in need. We also work with school librarians to make sure their libraries are fully-stocked, operational and diverse.
Mission
To support public school libraries and to provide funding to teachers with fresh, innovative and inspiring ideas to get kids excited about reading and writing.
Our Goal
Our goal is to help youths sharpen their written communication skills to better equip them for future academic and professional success. We are dedicated to helping young ones find their creative voice early in life. Intellectual and artistic development depends heavily on strong literacy skills. Youths confident in their reading and writing skills have higher self-esteem, a greater sense of self-empowerment and are more likely to become leaders in their schools and communities.
Our Team
Our team consists of dedicated and talented directors, board members and volunteers who have a passion for education and the written word.
How We Are Funded
Our parent company is Culturatti Ink, a small publishing house that produces books on different forms of culture and diversity. Culturatti Ink donates a large portion of the proceeds from specific books to help fund our literary programs and develop new ones. We raise funds through our annual writing contest open to all students in the country. We host several retail fundraisers throughout the year and obtain individual and corporate donations.
